Mario and Luigi: Purple Heroes[]
Sign Guy is a henchman to Sigh Guy. He hates the Shy Bros. for what they did in his childhood: bully him and mock his obsession with signs. He decided to join Sigh Guy not knowing the extreme consequences. In battle he activated a move called "Shadow Soul", which means that this was a game of life and death.
The attack pattern and damage are the same as aforementioned. When he is defeated, Shadow Soul will destroy him and leave nothing but a pile of dark crumbs.
In the Japanese version, because of the extreme damage (see below), he will occasionally throw 1-Up Deluxe Mushrooms and his signs travel slower.
Trivia[]
- This Shy Guy is unique in that his damage done with the letters changes depending on which language is spoken where he is encountered. Ironically, it does more damage in Japan than any other country.
- He rarely speaks and when he does everyone will wish he could talk more often since his voice seems to be very deep. He does not like to talk because he is shy (no surprise there...)
