The Chomp Bro. is a muscular sub-species of Hammer Bros. that wields Chain Chomps instead of hammers. Their first appearance was in the game Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga in Bowser's Castle. A Chomp Bro. also made an appearance in the popular Bowser's Kingdom show during the Villains' Olympics, as part of a team called Team Super Awesome Dynamite Platinum Bros. His teammates were a Mouser and a Mega Mole. He was voiced by Andrew Raskin who also voices Hal and his other teammate the Mega Mole (who is called "Monty Mole" in the series). He has a Austrian accent.

In Episode 7, Chomp Bro. is part of Team Super Awesome Dynamite Platinum Bros. and appears to be overly confident and extremely arrogant. During the wrestling event, he tells Mouser to stand aside so that he can take on Hal, claiming to be the number-one wrestling champion. Jeff asks Hal how he is going to beat Chomp Bro. but Hal reminds him that he has already managed to defeat a monkey wearing a tie and can, therefore, defeat a "German turtle". Chomp Bro. tells Hal that he's actually Austrian before shoving Hal so hard that he goes flying. Team Super Awesome Dynamite Platinum Bros. place first in the competition and are awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to Yoshi's Island. Chomp Bro. is last seen trying to save the Mega Mole from being swallowed by a vicious Yoshi.
He makes a cameo in Episode 10.
He made a small reappearance in Bowser's Kingdom The Movie as a minor antagonist in Bowser's army. He was later defeated by the Karate Duo Number 1.
