Beezos (トンダリヤ, or "Tondariya" in Japan) are a sub-species of Shy Guys that first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2, where they came in three colors: Red, Green and Gray. This sub-species appears to use tridents as weapons. They also have insect like wings on their back, which allow them to fly.
The Beezos attack by charging towards the player. They normally appear in large groups. There is an seemingly infinite number of Beezos and thus, they won't disappear until the player leaves the portion of the level they appear in.
There are two ways to defeat a Beezo. The players can throw Vegetables or other objects at a Beezo, or jump on one of them, pick it up, and throw it.
Bowser's Kingdom: The Movie[]
A single red Beezo appear in the Bowser's Kingdom movie, and it's only appearance in the entire series, he flies to Bowser's castle after Jeff and Hal ruin Steve's prefect day, Bowser receives some word from the Beezo, telling him he was informed that Jeff and Hal have other plans, this makes Bowser furious, later on the Beezo flies to the castle again, that Jeff and Hal at the Mushroom Kingdom castle for Bowser's plan. Despite it's design, the Beezo is credited as "Fly Guy" in the credits, and the Beezo has the same Christopher Walken sounding voice as any other Shy Guy has.
